To whom it may concern, The piece of property that Steve and Deana have in Stow is the epitome of paradise. Tucked away in a peaceful setting is the most beautiful set of cabins set among the wildflowers and woods. Yet it sits in an area with every essential you could possibly need when staying away from home. It’s hard to find people who are genuine and sincere these days. Steve and Deana are those people. When looking for a wedding venue at last minute my mother stumbled upon the paradise property in Stow. Only to find out it was owned by a friend she knew from high school. The trip down memory lane uncovered that my father also knew Steve from high school. As the friends became reacquainted the selflessness of the couple amplified. They heard our story and offered the venue for free. July 7th, 2023, will forever be my favorite day. On that Saturday I had the privilege of standing in front of my friends and family and married my favorite person. This day was so special for so many reasons. When we decided to get married, we had planned to have it in Pennsylvania where we live. My grandfather isn’t doing well, and he requested that we move the wedding to Ohio and closer to him. My family is from Ohio, I grew up in Stow. A disappointed bride gave up her dream outdoor wedding and started searching for a location on such short notice with not much hope. Imagine my surprise when my mom and my dad ended up finding out their old high school friend had a beautiful venue 15 minutes from my grandfather’s house and was offering it to us for free. Not only was it short notice, but it was free! Steve and Deana have that kind of heart. They proved this when they made my dreams come true on such a short notice. Because of their kindness my grandfather was able to attend our wedding, something we will forever be grateful for. It is my belief from first-hand experience that if this venue is allowed to run as a business that it will not only benefit Stow, but it will help put Stow on the map. Stow will become a location for weddings, requiring catering and bringing guests to the hotels. This will be a great increase of income into the city of Stow. Having this venue will become the reason people come to little ole Stow, Ohio. This piece of property is truly the diamond in the rough.
